With rising costs and greenwashing making it tricky for consumers to buy consciously and sustainably made clothing, the need for systemic change in the fashion industry is imperative. Educate yourself about the clothing you purchase and strive to shop from second-hand stores, local markets, and designers. Without smart shopping, excess fashion production will continue to cause mass pollution and encourage unfair working conditions.
